A set of large, thin, custom-made ‘light boxes’ are positioned vertically in an otherwise unlit space. These weather-resistant rectangles emit light from one side only, and are placed precisely to imply the existence of a house at night. All light box dimensions and relative positions exactly replicate a house that existed in pre-potato famine Ireland.
